Individual Development Grants

Eligibility

Background

Individual grants are available for individuals who live within the Central Coast municipality and have been selected to represent Tasmania at a national or international competition or event in sporting, academic or cultural endeavours. 

Approval of a grant is subject to the available budget and will be based on information provided in the application, which must include proof of selection.

Funding Amount

National representation: $250 per individual

International: $500 per individual

Applications must be received a minimum of two weeks prior to the event.  Individuals who apply for funding after this will be ineligible.  There will be no retrospective funding.

Individuals can only receive one grant from the Central Coast Council each financial year.

 Applications are assessed within 4 weeks in the order that they are received.  Funding decisions are made under the approval of the Manager Active and Inclusive Communities and are subject to the available budget.
